Teacher Outreach
The Maryland Music Education Conference provided an enriching platform for the presentation of our innovative program, Scotland In the Class, to a diverse audience of music educators, students, and leaders in music education across the state.
For two days, we engaged with attendees, emphasizing the significance of incorporating history and heritage into music classrooms. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with teachers and future educators expressing excitement about the dynamic ways we integrate Scottish culture into music education.
With a total turnout of 2,228 participants, including 697 music teachers, 1,074 students, and 457 music education leaders, our program's availability for free resonated deeply, promising to enhance the musical experiences of countless students throughout Maryland.
